Lucy Hodge

Lucy is a Paediatric Physiotherapist living and working in South London.
She is an expert with babies and children, complex needs and developmental concerns who assesses/treats children in their own home. She also offers virtual appointments at present if preferred.

As a children’s physiotherapist and certified children’s yoga teacher, I am passionate about children moving, to the best of their ability – no matter what that is.

I am a dedicated and effective physiotherapist with twelve years of paediatric experience in the NHS and private sector.  This includes work in the acute, community and clinic settings, with significant experience in special schools and working with mainstream schools and nurseries.

My specialisms/interests include:

  • Early Years: Babies and pre-school age children, including those born prematurely
  • Delayed walking or motor development
  • Complex physical disability including those with respiratory needs.
  • Movement disorders
  • Gait and orthoses
  • Posture and Postural Management

I offer an honest expert opinion about your child’s needs following a full and thorough assessment.  I take a holistic, hands-on approach to treatment and work closely with children and their families to ensure they reach their full potential.  I am passionate about working with, and empowering parents, to enable them to optimise their child’s ability.

I feel it is important to assess a child in their own, familiar environment:  This gives you the added convenience of me coming to you.  However, if required I will also see your child at nursery, school, in the playground or swimming pool.

So, if you would like physiotherapy assessment, treatment or even just advice; please do not hesitate to contact me.
