Ro is a pregnancy and postnatal specialist yoga teacher, offering classes in Winchmore Hill, North London or private classes from your home.
Ro has been teaching yoga since 2015, and during that time has spent many hours with students from all different walks of life. Her areas of specialist interest are within women’s health (primarily around fertility, pregnancy and post natal recovery), and she has invested in a lot of training within these remits. Ro is acutely aware of the need for more support for women during these life chapters, and endeavour to provide accessible, evidence based movement practices to support both the body and mind.

Classes encourage women to develop strength and flexibility, and tune into their body and mind on their journey to motherhood. We work to encourage breath awareness while moving through a fluid sequence of postures. Birth preparation is woven through classes as we explore relaxation techniques, breath work and birthing positions.

Postnatal Yoga
Classes are dedicated to learning the needs of the post natal body - helping rebuild core and pelvic strength, ease achy shoulders and back and encouraging breath awareness. Private classes allow opportunity to work on specific needs, including diastasis, pelvic floor weakness and back pain.

For me, Ro offers a perfect balance between the spiritual and physical side of yoga. There is no pressure to "succeed" and a lot of emphasis on listening to your own body every week. Her online classes during lockdown have been a real anchor too.

Having just had a baby I have been to a few of Ro’s post natal classes.They are a fantastic idea for any new mother as a stress release and good body work out too. I have practised yoga on and off for over 10 years and been to many different teachers, Ro is one of the best teachers I’ve had, she works your body and guides you along the way reminding you about breathing and the muscle groups you are aiming to use.

It's such a treat to do a class that is designed for me instead of just for baby! I feel like I am recovering from birth much quicker thanks to this yoga class, and it's a lovely way to meet other mums in the area.
